Step #3: Getting Everybody On The Same Page

Your firm must be able to answer each baseline question with depth and clarity. If you are struggling over an answer, this is a clear indicator where you need to spend more time and dig deeper. Step #1 records your intuitive insights. Step #2's take-away questions compile insights gained by viewing your firm through the lens of a business strategist. In Step #3, we revisit each baseline question and apply the principles covered in the Building Blocks of Strategy. Use The Path Forward document below as a guide to refine and sharpen responses to each basline question. Take the time to wordsmith your final responses. Use the Quick Links page to revisit specific concepts and frameworks. Well crafted responses are factual, convincing, and compelling.

You tell your story in narrative form to make it easy for all your stakeholders to understand where the firm is heading. The 15 Baseline Questions combined with the Strategy for Growth Questions in Step #4 will provide much of the content you need to convey.

"Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true."
